I just spend the weekend at HeavenLeigh Escape and had the best time!!! We were there for a Scrapbooking Retreat. Tammy and Greg are wonderful hosts and make you feel right at home. The cropping room is very spacious and you have plenty of room for all of your extra little items that you think you might need! The house is wonderful (spacious bedrooms, comfy mattresses, private baths, wonderful kitchen for use in the cropping area, and very clean). We can't wait to go back and have already booked on the calendar for next year, yeah!

Tammy! OMG! What can I say! You and Greg are such wonderful hosts and I love every single minute that I get to spend at Heavenleigh Escape. You treat us wonderfully and the food is delicious, but the best part of spending time with you is the friendship that flows through the space. Everyone feel so comfortable and stress-free! This is my third trip, but I can honestly say that it will not be my last! Thank you so much for sharing your piece of heaven with us.

LOVE IT! Every time I come here! I have been blessed to visit this place on many occasions with my friends and we have a blast! Actually, our group has made a promise to each other to visit at least once a year! Tammy takes such great care of us so we can LEAVE our CARES/STRESS elsewhere! If you are looking for a GREAT place to get together with friends or family (yes this would be a wonderful place to have a family reunion) you need go no further. This place is IT!

Tammy, you were so great to us-Thank You! You made us feel right at home and I loved your facility!! Your meals were great and now I'm paying the price by having to hit the gym to get rid of all your great food! You are a perfect fit for the retreat business-you love people and it really shows! We are definitely planning on coming back!!!

I loved your place - it was hands down the best place we have visited over the past several years. It was clean, quiet, the food was spectacular, and our group really enjoyed ourselves. The beds were comfy ... and did I mention clean? Everything was CLEAN! :) The extra table space was extremely handy, and you didn't even flinch when we moved the tables around to suit our group. We're planning to come back again - we can't wait!

Tammy, your place is simply perfect! I had such a relaxing time out there and you went above and beyond in the food department. The meals were amazing, your animals are precious, and your husband is the best for changing my tire. I'm so glad we found your place, I know we can't wait to come back!!!! Thanks so much for everything!

The Rotary Rebels small quilting group has nothing but rave reviews for our stay at your retreat center last weekend. The cabin was wonderful and you provided every single essential element we needed from the great coffee maker, ice machine, handy kitchen, design walls & cutting stations to the comfortable beds and well equipped bathrooms and the fantastic homemade breakfast meals we requested. The only mistake we made was in not requesting all of our meals from you. The animals are all delightful characters, from the cats and dogs to the pig, horses, mule, goats, chickens, roosters and turkeys. Now if only our Garmen knew where the cabin was, we'd get there even quicker. We will be recommending you to all of our quilting friends.

Thank you for the warm hospitality, Tammy! I had a great time with my scrapbooking friends last weekend. Your place was charming, beautiful and clean (Clean is important to us neatniks!). I loved your home cooking and can't wait for the cookbook to come out. Was nice to spend time in such peaceful, country surroundings and be able to greet the horses and goats each morning.

Tammy, Wanted to tell you what a fantastic time I had with Toni Breese and her group this weekend at your place. It was wonderful and I enjoyed the pink room. I wanted to apologize for forgetting my nasty habit plastic bottle that I meant to throw away. I'm sure y'all have found it by now. My apologies. Take care and hope to see you in November when Toni plans on coming back. I'm very much looking forward to it.

Hi, I just wanted to say I loved everyminute of my stay at HeavenLeigh Escape. The cowgirl in me always wanted to go to Texas for a little ranch like setting. The hospitality is amazing. Just seeing the quilting and scrapbooking inspired me. Congratulations for keeping up the good work. It is actually my second visit and it was as great as the first. I loved the fresh chicken eggs from the free range chickens being raised right on the farm. Thanks again!

T.his weekend will be my first time out. I've admired from afar and finally the time is right; an offer from Tammy for last minute slots available. I can hardly wait to meet Tammy and Greg and all the furry faces on their property.

I so wish I could stay some days in your beautiful house with my friends! But the costs for a visit from Germany are way more than I could afford right now. ;o) But I´ll keep praying that one day I´ll visit! Your house looks so wonderful! Greetings from Germany, Coni

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME is all I can say. My group of girlfriends and I come twice a year and it is absolutely fabulous. We think the world of both Tammy and Greg and what great hosts they are. We love that they are so flexible and even let us do our own meals. We bring our own food and she lets us have full reign of the kitchen. We love it. We will continue to come as long as they'll have us!!!!!! It's the absuloute best.

I drove in from Houston to attend a weekend scrapbooking retreat at HeavenLeigh Escape and I couldn't have been more pleased. The accommodations were first rate, the food was delicious, and Tammy, Greg, & Ann treated us like family. We enjoyed ourselves so much we've decided to make a retreat at HeavenLeigh an annual event. Tammy is just the sweetest thing ever. It didn't take long for us to make her an honorary member of our little group and we can't wait till next year to see her again!

If you ever get the chance to go here.... GO!!! Tammy, Greg, Alex, Lilly, and Harley are the most welcoming hosts. I had a truly wonderful time and know that the IDOS Southern Girls will be back. The directions were spot on, the food was awesome, and I can't wait for another chance to get out there. This weekend made the drive (6hrs) worth it!

Heavenleigh Escape is a great spot for retreats. Because I'm usually too busy working to take in the sights, my favorite part (so far) is the drive in, so comfortable and friendly. And the light that shines in while your working; and the food that smells so yummy that it is the only thing that can pull me away from the scrap table. The shame of it is that I bring too much work to do, when all I really wanna do is sit around and breathe in the country air and listen to the trees and birds...one day this will happen. Until then, I'm just glad I get a cozy place to get away all weekend with my friends to scrap and chat.

Wendy Sardella said:   November 14, 2007 6:36 am PST
Hey Tammy, Love it - love it -love it! You are a warm and fuzzy hostess, you are all about your customer, and I feel like I'm at a good friend's home for the weekend. And the food - outstanding - don't bring a scale... Thank you, God Bless you and see you soon! Wendy

My stay at HeavenLeigh Escape was a wonderful experience. The surroundings are really beautiful with lots of trees, open spaces, the darling animals including goats, a horse and donkey. The retreat center is warm and invitiing with plenty of room and equipment for working on projects. The bedrooms and baths are cozy, comfortable and have lovely decorations making it feel like home. It is so nice to be able to escape the hustle and bustle of home to relax, concentrate on projects, walk in the country, just relax and read or watch a movie on the big screen television. Tammy and Greg are awesome hosts and I will return often to their little bit of Heaven in Texas.
