We lost my beautiful mom, "Nanny",  on April 21, 2007 to a long but courageous battle with breast cancer. HeavenLeigh Escape was very special to my mom and we are so thankful she was able to be a part of it. She spent many weekends here with her family and friends working on her scrapbooks or favorite quilt.
Not long after she passed away, her friends at Quilt Country contacted me about planting a garden in her memory. They spent a rainy Saturday arranging beautiful roses around a garden bench, laying edging and spreading mulch. A wonderful "Nanny's Rose Garden" sign adds the finishing touch. Nanny had so many caring friends and it shows through the beauty of her memory garden.
We now have another Angel watching over us.

The craft area is spacious enough for 12 guests to work comfortably on their projects. Each guest has their own seperate 4' table, comfortable chair, and individual trash container and drink holder. Adequate lighting and electrical outlets are available for creating those perfect projects. Additional tables are available for consultant inventory, cutting fabric or displaying your own works of art. A Cricut is set up and ready and you are welcome to bring any fonts you may have. We also have a Sizzix machine and a few fonts for your use. A TV with satellite and built in DVD player is located in the craft area so bring your favorite movies or feel free to browse through some of ours. A stone fireplace covers one wall and is perfect for those chilly evenings. We also offer wireless internet if you would like to bring your laptop and free unlimited long distance and local phone calls.

A spacious media room is located upstairs and offers a big screen TX with satellite so you don't have to miss your favorite program. You can also sit back and read a book or just enjoy some much needed R & R. Right off of the media room is a door that leads to the upper balcony. Have a seat in one of the porch rockers and listen to the sounds of the wildlife...you may not want to go back to the city.
